Periodisation and Condition training

Physical condition is the basis for good football performance. You can train this in football specific situations. By accentuating different ‘football problems’, different conditional elements are stimulated and trained. By varying the intensity and size of football specific elements and doing the right amount (duration, number of repeats, repeat interval, number of series, series pause) you can put the accent on training specific conditional elements such as ability to recover, recovery capacity, sprint ability and sprint capacity.
